I was asked to paint some 28mm Byzantine's by a long term customer. He wanted me to use 28mm Crusader Miniatures figures. Here are a couple of pics of the latest batch.

These are 20mm Underfire Miniatures Chechen's and British.They are great figures to paint with loads of detail,certainly the best 20mm moderns around IMHO

28mm Aventine Miniatures Sassanid Persian Elephants ,i painted these for a long term customer.

I completed these 20mm Blitz miniatures 1940 BEF for a customer. The detail on the figures them selves is first rate,i really enjoyed working on them.

I made this model of a SDKFZ7/1 of Panzer Lehr using the superb Revell 1/72 scale kit. The figures are a mix of SHQ Miniatures figures from several different sets. The figures are painted to showcase standard.

AB WW2 20mm German infantry painted ready for battles in Normandy and beyond.

AB Waffen SS Grenadiers. Lovely figures to paint. I need 20 for my Normandy project so i painted these up. They are painted in a mix of plain tee,oakleaf and M44 pea dot.

I have been working on some 28mm Perry Miniatures Sudan era British infantry. These are plastic from their great box set,lovely figures and so well thought out. I did not remove the mould line on the front and rear of their helmets as their pith helmets as it had a seam there,i removed it from the band around the helmet,deliberate mistake.

I painted these Perry Miniatures Plastic French Hussars to help keep me in the practice of painting Napoleonics. I have painted quite a number of Napoleonic figures in the past,but as i needed to keep in touch with the technique i bought a box to do just that. A customer saw the pics and they now belong to him.

These are the new S&S models dodge series models( very nice 1/72scale models) i did for a client,the command car,4x4 and 6x6, i added details to these models such as the tilt supports etc and stowage,the drivers and passengers are AB painted to my wargames standard, i have the one standard for vehicles.

This is a unit of 24 Victrix Miniatures Samnite infantry, i painted for a client as part of a four unit commission to my showcase standard,my client wanted them to have a tanned look so i gave the figures flesh a darker look as if they were from a sunny climate.

This is a unit of Imperial Roman Legionaries with the Legionary Oval shield by Aventine Miniatures which i painted for a client to my showcase standard.This is the senior cohort of a complete 10 cohort legion which i painted last year for my client.

This a a unit of Elhiem 20mm cold war Soviets painted to wargames standard,they are superb moderns, Really well sculpted by the designer Matt Hingley.

These are 28MM Perry Miniatures Napoleonic French which i painted to my Wargames standard for a client who wanted to use them in  his games of 'Sharpe Practice'.

I paint to a couple of standards one is showcase and the second is wargames,here are some Britannia WW2 Afrika Korps and Japanese which i painted to wargames standard. The figures are Britannia Miniatures 20mm.

These are Armourfast 1/72 quick build Cromwell's. Armourfast make a nice range of various WW2 vehicles,they do not cost much,but need some help to bring the detail up. Here i used stowage sets made by S&S models.

Aventine Miniatures have a superb range of 28mm Ancient figures. They cover the wars of the early Roman Republic to the wars of 3rd Century Rome. Here is a unit of 12 Republican Roman Cavalry.
